Even Exchange Dance Theater is inspired by the history that we
hold in our bodies and how we influence and have been influenced
by each other, our community, and our home. Prompted by our 10th company
anniversary, in the 2008-9 season we will be exploring our collective
North Carolina history. We will be joined by numerous community
members including local historian David Cecelski, North Carolina
geologist Daniel Pearson, dancers, musicians, and many
community partnership groups.

Even Exchange Dance Theater is a collaborative
modern dance company located in Raleigh. Their focus
has three aspects: repertory work, improvisation and
community partnerships. Supported in part by NC Arts Council,
City of Raleigh Arts Commission, and United Arts, Even Exchange
was awarded the Medal of Arts in 2002.
